Floating therapy is a most incredible means of stress relief, muscular relaxation, pain relief and the ultimate in peace and tranquility offering you the chance to regain physical, emotional and psychological health and regaining a good sleep pattern.

The I-Sopod Floatation Tank is located in a private heated room with shower facilities.If you wish please bring your own towels and shower products, however we do also provide these.

Please allow 90 minutes for your floatation session - 10 minutes for your pre-float briefing & a chance to ask questions; 5 minutes to change & shower before your float; 60 minutes in the floatation tank; and finally 15 minutes to shower again, change & relax before leaving.

Rosanna has developed her expertise in the treatment of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions affecting children and women. She has worked extensively both in the NHS and privately.

She is an accredited Mummy MOT practitioner, which involves carrying out an in-depth postnatal assessment of the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles following childbirth. She treats women both during and after pregnancy with conditions such as urinary incontinence, prolapse, rectus diastasis (‘tummy gap’) and back, pelvic or coccyx pain. She is passionate about educating and empowering women to return to the activities they love.

Her other interest is treating children and young people. She has worked as an Advanced Physiotherapist in this field, undergoing training to Masters level. She treats a wide variety of complaints including hypermobility, sports injuries, chronic pain and gait (walking) abnormalities. Rosanna recognises that children benefit from specialist assessment and management.

Rosanna is a member of the Health Professions Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

Christine worked in the care industry for many years, including a nanny in San Fransisco and Paris, then returning to Cumbria, gaining her degree to work with adults with learning disabilities. She has also work in customer services as a member of the team at Larch Cottage Nurseries, not to mention being a full-time mother to two beautiful daughters, before, due to health issues, having to re-evaluate her life, which lead her down a new path of Reflexology and complementary health.

Christine gained her BSc (hons) in Complementary Therapies at the University of Cumbria in 2013. She is also a member of the AOR (Association of Reflexologist) PR (Professional Reflexology) and registered with the CNHC (Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council) for reflexology which is recognised by the NHS.

She specialises in Clinical Reflexology and has carried out further training in treatments which compliment reflexology. Christine is passionate about supporting people living with for ME CF, Fibromyalgia, MS and Motor-Neurone Disease and Cancer care. Christine is now teaching the Professional Reflexology Diploma and sharing the vast knowledge and expertise to raise the profile of highly qualified practitioners.

Rosanna graduated from The University of Birmingham in 2009 with a degree in Physiotherapy. Over the years Rosanna has developed her expertise in the treatment of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions affecting children and women. She has worked extensively both in the NHS and privately.

Since qualifying as an APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) Pilates Instructor in 2013 Rosanna has been teaching Pilates Matwork and Reformer classes. She is an accredited Mummy MOT practitioner, which involves carrying out an in-depth postnatal assessment of the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles following childbirth.
